I can believe things that are true and I can believe things that aren’t true
and I can believe things where nobody knows if they’re true or not

I think that I may have an ear/sinus infection. I've been getting these nasty headaches for several days straight now, the insides of my ears hurt, and my jaw is sore. It's a nasty sort of feeling.

Luckily I managed to not add a sunburn to myself on top of that today. My mum, dad, Rob and I headed out to Heritage for many many hours in the hot sun. I remember sunscreen, and a hat, and drank lots of water, and still felt like I might have heat stroke by the time I got home. But I don't appear to be red anywhere, so I figure it's all good. And we had a complete blast! We watched a ton of demos (including Tai Chi, Irish dancing, Japanese drumming, and Wu Shu martial arts), ate a lot of very tasty food (like souvlaki, and green onion cakes, and ice cream, and mango smoothies) and bought some cool stuff (including an adorable Chinese outfit for Rob's tiny baby niece). My coolest purchase was a single, dangly earring that had lost its partner. It is shaped vaguely like a lightning bolt, with blue, pink and green stones on it. The best part was that the guy let me have it for only $2.00 since it wasn't a set. Whee! Rob also bought me a really neat green shirt with a Celtic knot on it that I really liked. It's beautiful and fits perfectly. I'm thrilled. I also picked up a neat cross-stitch kit of a Celtic dragon (okay technically it's a horse, but it looks more like a dragon). The most bizarre purchase of the day was a gift for my dad - a hand knitted Yoda finger puppet. My Mum says she'll make it into a Woggle for him for his Scouting events. Yay. (For those of whom that makes no sense, my Dad's scout name is Yoda, and a Woggle is the piece that holds their scarvves together).

Anyway after a really fun day, Rob and I home and collapsed. The rain started about 20 mins later. Eventually he headed off to D&D and I curled up with the crossword puzzle and some stuff to finish for work. I didn't actually get it all done, but I don't work until 1:00pm tommorow so I ought to be able to get it done in the morning. For now though, I am headed for bed. It seems early, but I'm tired, so I figure it's a pretty good idea.

It is now officialy 25 days until I finish work, and probably a week after that 'till I leave. I am so unprepared. The only thing crossed of my "To Get" list is new underwear - and I grabbed the wrong size. Ahhh!!
